A long time ago, people decided that they wanted to be able to swim with the fish, without the trouble of wearing so much clothing. So, someone decided that the bathing suit needed to be made, and voila, it was! Then, as the years passed, the bathing suit became smaller and smaller. Some of us have asked the question, “Must swimsuites be so tiny?” Then, we ponder.
Okay, you say what ever you want, but, the inquiry has been made before. Let us take a look at the reason it is necessary to be mostly without clothing in order to swim. People have used several different kinds of arguments but, this is not going to be a conventional thought. We are going to take a different road here.
Plain and simply, men are visual creatures. It does not make some women happy knowing their mates are looking at scantily clad women, but unfortunately, it is the truth. Men want to see flesh, and they probably would have it no other way. Oh sure, when it comes to the women they are married to, most of these men do not want her dressed in a bikini but, they do not mind seeing it on another woman!
In the beginning, when swimsuits were first brought to our attentions, just the mere showing of naked arms and ankles got many people into a tizzy! Several individuals were ready to rip out the hair on their heads to know that a woman would wear something so “revealing”! Articles were written in newspapers, and talk around the towns focused on the very idea that a woman would allow herself to be a “harlot” by showing so much of her body. Those same people would have heart attacks to see the way women wear revealing clothing now.
Besides, when you swim, should you not want comfort? How in the world can a woman be comfortable if she is swimming, and all of a sudden a part of her swim wear has drifted off into the sunset? How is it that most women pull at their bathing suits, as if they are constantly trying to cover something for which they do not have enough material to do the job? This is perplexing, and confusing.
This is not swimsuit bashing 101. It is simply amazing that the amount of fabric used for most bathing suits, would not amount to the fabric used to cover one of your arms. Another confusing thought, is why the smaller amount of material, the higher the cost of the suit?
Also, why do some people actually feel the need to allow “butt-floss” as a part of their wardrobe? The bathing suits that are made this way are absolutely hilarious. We spend much of our young lives, digging out the “wedgies” we get from our underwear. Why in the world would someone bother to make suits that have a thin piece of fabric that fits right into the crack of your butt?
You have every right to wear whatever you want. But, it is also a right to ask the questions which have been presented in this article. How can we have debate if everyone is afraid to ask questions? You make your own decisions on the matter.
